Drug Uses for Clarinex
Clarinex is an antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of good old-fashioned hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis). Clarinex contains a long-acting tricyclic histamine antagonist with selective H1-receptor histamine antagonist activity.
How Clarinex is Taken
Clarinex comes in tablets to take by mouth. It can be taken with or without food and is usually taken once daily. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Clarinex exactly as directed, meaning as prescribed by your doctor.
